Lalbagh Fort has variety of opening times based on the season. On summer, the fort is open from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm . The previous schedule is applied on Wednesday to Saturday. On Friday, they extend the break for the Jummah prayer so the opening time is start on 3 pm. During winter, their opening time is an hour earlier than the summer schedule. It is best to visit based on the time in the schedule. However, never plan to visit the fort on Thursday because the fort is close on that day.

Ahsan Manzil is located in the southern part of Dhaka city. It is recommended to go there by taxi or car. However, be careful with the prices that the driver offered to you.
