In the year 2003, the air machine was acquired by the museum, and since then it delights visitors with a magical flying experience. Decorated with an original nose art clubbed with stripes depicting invasion information, it is a heartfelt tribute to the men and machines of the June 6, 1944 D-Day invasion. You can also enjoy a ride in the famous P-51 Mustang which is one of the iconic aircraft of WWII.

Every year the Memorial Day Flower Drop and Air Fare is celebrated at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Through this ceremony, the museum pays tribute to all the fallen comrades who paid the ultimate tribute to their motherland by sacrificing their lives. Every year they pay tribute to the sacrifice of different people on different war fronts. The Flower Drop ceremony is a dedication to these ultimate heroes of real life. In their honor, a fly-by and flower drop of over three thousand beautiful red and white carnations from a B-25 Mitchell bomber is made on the grounds. Come and be a part of a day-long journey of exhibitions, music bands, kid's activities and a lot more on the foundation day. You can also take away a rose with you as a precious memory.
