To go to Tagbilaran from Manila, you will need to go by plane. Once you've reached Tagbilaran, go to Alona Beach from there. To go to Tagbilaran from Dumaguete, you will need to go by a fast ferry. The ferry would cost 650 pesos and take 2 hours long. Once you've reached Tagbilaran, go to Alona Beach from there.
Choose well when renting a boat. Some boats will charge you too much and might not pick you up on time. It is not recommended to rent private boats.
