The ArcelorMittal Orbit is an observation tower that is one of the most popular sights in London. It is a 114.5 metres high sculpture which is housed in the Queen Elizabeth Tower in London. The sculptor is designed by sculptor Sir Anish Kapoor and engineer Cecil Balmond. It is one of the most striking attractions in the country that renders an enduring vision of the city. How to Get Tickets?

Tickets can be booked online along with the facility of advance booking made possible. You can also book for annual passes and visit the Orbit throughout the year. Visitors are offered combo offers and individual tickets. Tickets can also be booked at the ticket office. However online booking allows you to gain discounts. The prices for adults above 17 years is 11.50 Euros, for children between 3 to 16 years is 5.50 Euros, Senior high school or students is 8.50 Euros and for family its 32 Euros. Students must produce their ID or student card when visiting the point.

How To Get Around?

The attraction site is open for people throughout the year. There are lifts and elevator facility to move on to the next floor. However, the place doesn’t offer wheelchair amenities. The visitors will have to walk around for viewing the entire place on foot with map and directions offered to go to the next place.

What Should I Wear?

There is no particular dress code. However, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that is comfortable and doesn’t carry any obscene picture on it.

Best Time to Visit

The attraction points open at morning 11 am and remains open till evening 4 pm from Monday to Friday. On weekends i.e. Saturday and Sunday, the place opens at morning 10 am and remains open till evening 6 pm. The slide and other rides will open 30 minutes after the attraction place opens. The best time to visit the place is in the morning when the weather is cool and it’s easier to take the adventure rides.



Will I Need a Guide?

Visitors are offered guided tours for groups and individuals. They are also offered audio guides in different languages. Visitors can also explore the place on their own without a guide. However, in order to get well acquainted with the place you can opt for guided tours.

How To Get There?

The ArcelorMittal Orbit is easier to reach. The city of Stratford is well connected to stations and roadways of London. People can take either transport and reach the place in less time through the London stations. You can also take the underground facility from Central Line or Jubilee Line to reach Stratford which is just 11 minutes from the city or reach through London’s west end that will take 19 minutes to reach. The Orbit is just a 10-minute walk from the Stratford station. Bus no D8 and 339 stop nearby to the place.
