There are five programs in this children and family's program. The first one is the Family Sundays which holds every Sundays from 1 to 4 pm. In here, you and your kids can make art together. This program will allow you and your children to learn how to paint. Unlike the Family Sundays' program, this art gallery holds this courses and workshop program for all year long. The next program is the Hands-On Centre program. This program allows you and your kids experience in artmaking, constructing, storytelling, and costume play. This program is also held all year long, so you do not have to worry if you miss one. The next program will be the Art Cart program. In this program, your children will be able to paint or making art together with new friends and surrounded by the amazing artworks. Last but not least, the next program is the Strolling the Galleries program. If usually babies are not allowed in the museum, in here, you can bring your baby and enjoy the artworks. This program is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 10.30 am.

There is the AGO Bistro, open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Next is the Norma Ridley Members' Lounge. This lounge is exclusive only for the members and opens from Tuesday to Sunday. If you want to enjoy coffee, you can go to the Espresso Bar in Galleria Italia. This bar is open from Tuesday to Sunday. The last one is the Cafe AGO. This cafe will allow you to get refreshments and open from Tuesday to Sunday. Beside the dining places, you can also shop in the Art Gallery of Ontario. You can shop at the Shop AGO where you can shop many artworks created in the art gallery. Then, you can also rent the artworks for your events or anything else. The next one is, if you want to hold an event, you can rent the AGO and hold the event there.

Best Time to Visit

This Art Gallery of Ontario is closed only on Monday and open from Tuesday to Sundays. The opening hour is the same, that is from 10.30 am. On the other hand, the closing hour is quite different. On Tuesday and Thursday, this gallery will close at 5.00 pm, while on Wednesday and Friday, it will be closed at 9.00 pm. As for the weekends, the gallery will be closed at 5.30 pm.
