Bagh-e-Jinnah is all about plants, cricket, and a rich history. It holds an exquisite collection of trees, plants, shrubs and small plants covering the entire area of the park and giving it the natural greenery of a botanical garden. A large variety of flora is very well-managed and flourished inside the park. In its one hundred and forty-one acres land, a large portion of the area is dedicated to the rich flora of the country. With its massive collection of more than one hundred and fifty trees, and nearly one hundred types of shrubs, fifty varieties of creepers, thirty palm species, and with over hundreds of succulent and indoor plants, the garden is a visual treat for every soul. Apart from the greenery, it also enriches the heart of its visitors with the colorful flowers that bloom all year long. Every season welcomes new colors of different types of flowers and fills the entire beautiful area with their overpowering fragrance. The garden takes pride in being the first institute to grow chrysanthemum and its varieties. Three nurseries and four hillocks also reside inside the charming gardens.
The iconic grounds of Bagh-e-Jinnah are also home to another fascinating structure of Quaid-e-Azam Library which dates its origin back to the year 1886. One of the most important culturally rich structures, the library is home to a massive collection of 1,25,000 books of English, Urdu, Persian, and Arabic language. With its striking architecture and beautifully designed building, it rests in two beautiful halls connected with a covered corridor known as the Bagh-e-Jinnah. Two basements on the eastern and western sides of the building serve as the reading spaces. Nearly two thousand new books are added to the collection every year. Public meetings, theatrical performances, musical events, and other gatherings embrace the grounds of the Lawrence Hall which acts as an assembly room for the locals and also the travelers.

Bagh-e-Jinnah Park is a popular cricket ground. It was built for the entertainment of government officials and civil servants in the year 1885, but today it plays host for various nations who come to play this gentleman game in the grounds of Pakistan. Earlier the renowned ground served as a test series ground by hosting friendly matches, competitive matches and also test matches with other eminent countries. It also boasts the Lahore Gymkhana Club which had a permanent center here.
