National Museum of Bahrain comprises nine major sections, a gift and souvenir shop, an educational hall and a cafeteria along with laboratories and warehouses. Among these sections, the most striking and impressive is the ëAncient History galleryí which displays the burial mounds with the skeleton. The ëEpic of Gilgameshí is the popular scene of the tableau, widely seen by the visitors. It also features the tradition and culture of Bahrain including wedding ceremonies, death and birth, lifestyle, clothing and its architecture. The eye-popping exhibit of National Museum is ëDurand Stoneí which is a long basalt sculpture of black color from the era of Babylonian. The old Quranic manuscripts, historical letters and documents, and notes on astronomy demonstrate in the ëDocument and Manuscript Hallí levitates curiosity among the viewers to know more about Bahrainís culture and background.

Opened in November 2012, it features a main auditorium of one thousand and one capacities and a studio theater for one hundred and fifty spectators. Famous as ëBahrain national Amphitheater', the local traditional design makes it appear to float upon the water. The fascinating entwined aluminium strips and opulent interior levitates charm to the performance of classical Arabian music, Placido Domingo, and Bolshoi Ballet.
