The Bali Bird Park was found in October 1995 with 2 hectares area and become the house of more than 1000 birds from over 250 different species until now. The birds inside this park include endangered species, for example the iconic bird from Bali, the Bali Myna. Bali Bird Park is also used to preserve, conserve, and breed the birds to prevent them from extinction. The interior of Bali Park is also designed based on the image of provinces in Indonesia, including the animal, plant, and traditional house. Not just that, Bali Park has more than 2000 tropical plants, including 50 kinds of palm tree. You can also see the Free Flight Bird Show in the Bali Rainforest area and see the macaws, storks, cockatoos and other birds soar freely through the sky. Another show includes Basic Instinct the Birds of Prey Show. On this show, you will find eagles, kites, owls, falcons, and other birds that will soar above you and swoop down again. If you want to take beautiful pictures with macaws and colourful cockatoos, you can come to Guyu Guyu Corner. The birds in the park are used to human, so don't be panicked when they start to perch on your shoulder.
Komodo dragon is a giant monitor lizard that is the direct descendant of the dinosaurs living almost 100 million years ago. If you want to see it, you can just visit the Bali Birds and Reptile Park and assign yourself for a Komodo Experience. Join the keeper as he feeds the komodo dragons and learn more about this stunning animal. Not far from the house of the komodo, you will find the Owl House that features collection of the nocturnal owls living in a unique house that was inspired by the traditional house in Toraja. One of the stars is the Barred Eagle Owl with its side-ways pointing ear tufts. Then, go and enjoy the 4D bird movies in an air-conditioned cinema that will entertain you.
After a long day, it is the right time to enjoy the culinary in the restaurant inside the Bali Birds and Reptile Park. The restaurant named The Bali Starling is an open-air restaurant that will take you to a tropical garden with the music come from the birds that sing their serenades as you enjoy the meal. Here, you can enjoy both local and international dish. There is also the Rainforest Cafe that is located at the heart of the park, just across the pelican pool. Stop here for some fresh juices, ice cream, and a selection of delicious snacks before continuing your journey in the park. While if you are looking for souvenirs, you can head to Sebun, a unique bird-themed merchandise and gift shop that is located near The Bali Starling.
How to Get Tickets?
Tickets can be afforded on the spot. However, it is better to book in advance through online channels to avoid the crowd and safe time, especially if you are coming in a large group. You can also look for special discount and choose between special tickets available that will give you additional advantage in cheaper price.
How To Get Around?
To get around you will have to go by foot. If you are tired from walking, you can take a rest at the cafe located in some areas inside the park and try their delicious food.
What Should I Wear?
There is no recommended dresscode for visiting Bali Birds and Reptile Park, but it is better to check the weather before you go and dress accordingly. It is also better to wear comfortable shoes or sandals because you will walk a lot inside the area.
Best Time to Visit
The park opens daily from 9 AM to 5.30 PM. If you want to see the whole program, then it is recommended to visit from early in the morning and prepare the whole day for exploring the park. Another plus point is that the park is not very crowded in the morning.

How To Get There?
Bali Birds and Reptile Park is located in Singapadu, Batubulan. If you are coming from Denpasar, then you can reach the place through the main Singapadu thoroughfare. The park is located 20 minutes from Sanur bypass and 30 minutes driving if you are coming from Ubud.
