The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art organizes Jazz at the Bechtler wherein the visitors can witness a mix of mid-century art and music. The concert is conducted on first Friday of each month by the acclaimed Ziad Jazz Quartet. Tickets for Museum visit can be bought by visiting the official website. Free entry is given to children up to the age of 10, military personnel, National Guard members. The tickets are chargeable are different rates. The entry fee for adult is $9.00, for children between 11 to 18 years $5.00 and the entry fee for Senior citizens, educators, college children is $7.00. In the case of college students, they must carry their School ID along.

The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is open for the public throughout the year except for Thanksgiving day, New year’s eve and Christmas Day. The museum remains open from morning 10 am to 5 pm from Monday to Saturday and 12.pm to 5 pm on Sunday. It remains closed on Tuesdays.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is located at Charlotte Center City. The place falls between Stonewall Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. It can be reached by public and private transport. You can take the Charlotte Area Transit System bus routes and get down at 2, 16, 18 and 19 stop which is at a walkable distance to the museum. If you are coming by rail, take the nearest rail stop of LYNX Light. There are parking areas allotted for visitors to park their vehicles.
