Things to do at Cafe Fleuri, there is a terrace in front of the succulent house you can let yourself be pampered in the Café Fleuri. Lunchtime guests, day-trippers, Aareschwimmer and BOGA-friends are served with lovingly prepared salads, soups, Bircher muesli, pastries and ice cream. The Café to stay, in the middle of Bern, but in the countryside!
The BOGA has six public show houses. The three little ones at the institute (the fourth is used for research purposes) come from the founding years of the Botanical Garden. The steppe house is exciting and unique here. The three big houses were opened in 1976. Previously, the old palm house stood in place of today's library. The houses contain two tropical parts and one with plants of the dry zones. It is interesting place, right? You could know any kind of plants from another world.
