The Bern Botanical Garden (BOGA) is a botanical garden located in Bern, the capital of Switzerland. The Bern Botanical Garden is a charming riverside park with flowers and green vegetation. The garden features more than 6.000 plant species and 7 greenhouses. The Alpinum contains a huge collection of alpine plants along with different plants that grow in Asia and North America. The other show houses focus on tropical and sub-tropical vegetation. The garden is a seductive festival of the senses, shapes, scents, and color. The art exhibition and events are the added attractions which can be enjoyed by excursionists. Things to do at Cafe Fleuri, there is a terrace in front of the succulent house you can let yourself be pampered in the Café Fleuri. The Café to stay, in the middle of Bern, but in the countryside!

The BOGA has six public show houses. The three little ones at the institute (the fourth is used for research purposes) come from the founding years of the Botanical Garden. The steppe house is exciting and unique here. The three big houses were opened in 1976. Previously, the old palm house stood in place of today's library. The houses contain two tropical parts and one with plants of the dry zones. It is interesting place, right? You could know any kind of plants from another world.
