These gardens are the most significant Italian gardens and the best open-air museum which holds another place of culture in Florence. The park consists of oak trees, sculptures, and fountains. This park provides nice shelter even though the days are sunny and this is the best example of green structure filled with sculptures and used as the prototype for various European gardens. In existence, the gardens have acquired its size and appeal and occurring as the biggest and most essential Italian gardens. The first plan for the garden was done by Niccolo Tribolo even though all the work was done before his death. The gardens are lagging with a natural water source. The ocean fountain in the garden in the past was in the center of an amphitheater. The knights garden is one of the leaned gardens of Boboli. The name itself is derived from the location, the central fountain is named as of the three monkeys because of the existence of three monkeys. Casino Del Cavaliere is on the upper part of the water tank where the water is sent from there to the irrigation system.

This is respectively the popular work within the garden. This cave was constructed at the end of the 16th century. In the first room of the cave, you can explore statues at four corners. The cave will be accessible from 3.30 pm and is allowed for 5 minutes only.

In order to reach the Fountain of Neptune, the tourists need to go through the dual ramp attracted with the statues from the Roman history. From this point, water is used to fill the complete garden. How to Get Tickets?

The last admission will be done before one hour of the closing time. There is free entrance for the people staying in this city and the entry will be free on the first Sunday of each month. The entry ticket will be of cost 3 Euro.

How To Get Around?

There is a direct bus from the city to the gardens and you will reach in 30 min. the distance between is 2km. if you are not having an option to travel by car then take bus 11 to reach the gardens which take 12 minutes to reach and costs for 100 Euro.

Best Time to Visit

The time to access the gardens is from 8.15 am till 4.30 pm in the months of November to February. And in the remaining months, the garden will be open till 5.30 pm. The garden will be closed on first and last Monday of every month. It will be even closed on January 1st and on Christmas day.



Will I Need a Guide?

No guide is needed to visit the attraction as transportation is very easily available on the site.

How To Get There?

From the city, the garden can very easily be reached by car on rent, bus and by walk also. The tourists can reach the garden by any of the 11 local buses that are readily available in the city and it takes about 12 min to reach the attraction. By taxi, the time taken for the travel is about 5 min and the distance is 4 km from the city.
