4.5 (100%) 977 votes

The Bronx Zoo is one of the most popular highlights of the Bronx Park situated in New York City. Being the largest metropolitan zoo in the States, this zoo gains a lot of attention from millions of overseas and domestic tourists every year. This 265 acres oldest U.S. zoo features more than 6,000 animals and diverse re-built habitats of the world. Although the zoo greets a number of visitors regularly, it’s the discounted Wednesdays and weekends that especially see larger crowds. Besides, July and August are full of visitors as well. From the subway, the easiest access point is the southwest Asia Gate of the park. As you step into the zoo, just grab a free map to learn about different demonstrations and animal-feeding sessions held at the zoo. If you want to see all of the zoo’s attractions, purchase a full experience ticket. This will provide you the access of the 6.5-acre Congo Gorilla Forest where you get chances to gaze into the eyes of these powerful animals.
