Earlier the museum was popular with name 'National Museum of Natural Science.' It exhibits eight permanent galleries and a vast collection along with Natural Heritage Campus. The Victoria Memorial Museum Building is famous for its highlights such as fossils of dioramas, dinosaurs and marine reptiles, minerals and rocks including the formation of planets, Canadian wild animals, a blue whale Skelton, more than five hundred species of Canadian birds, live insects, slugs, and multiple of interactive activities and more.
