There are two entrances of this City Palace. There are ticket booths at the entrances. To visit you have to pay Rs. 30, Kids are allowed at Rs. 15. The City Palace Museum charges Rs. 300. If you are carrying any camera you have to extra bucks. Group of Students get special discounts.
How To Get Around?
Walking around the permitted areas of the City Palace complex is the only option to get around.

Best Time to Visit
Udaipur is close to Thar Desert area, summer is not at all a suitable time to visit. Winter is the best time to pay a visit. The Palace tour timing is 7 am to 11 pm.

Without knowing the history and exclusivity of each palace, your Palace tour is basically incomplete. So hire a guide. Local guide will charge around Rs.300, palace guides are available at a cheaper rate. Audio guide is also available.
How To Get There?
The palace is around 23 kilometers from the Airport. Local Buses and Taxis are easily available to reach the palace.
To avail student discount, carrying Identity Card is required. The entire palace tour may take more than 2 hours, so carry enough food and water with you.
