Crocosaurus Cove is located in the heart of Darwin city. Visiting this place means you have to prepare your heart to start experiencing a 5 meters saltwater crocodile. In this place you can dive in a kind of a cage called Cage of Death. It dives about 15 meters to enclosure with one of these massive reptiles. Regular feeding by our crocodile handlers while you are in the cage encourages more movement from the crocodiles and ensures an up close encounter that must be seen to be believed. The cage is operated by an over-head monorail, and it is designed for 1 or 2 people for every cage. Don't ever miss the chance of getting 360 degrees views of you and the crocodiles. The George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens is a place where estuary and marine plants grow naturally. The garden is a house of great variety of tropical plants, both native and exotic species. The highlights are the palm, a miniature rain forest with a waterfall and pond, the orchid garden, and the collection of baobabs in the woodland section. The garden is spanning 42 hectares. It is laid out by a Russian immigrant, Maurice Holtze in 1891 to contain a great variety of tropical plants.
