Cubbon Park is a popular attraction with its classic collection of heritage buildings and the lush greenery which gives it the inherent splendidness. Among its various gems, the Bangalore Aquarium in the Park is perhaps the most popular of all. Established in the year 1983, this celebration of marine flora and fauna resides inside an octagonal building with three distinct floors dedicated to these marine creatures. A variety of marine animals like goldfish, glowlight tetra, moon tail, red-tail shark, catla, freshwater prawns, angelfish, Indian tiger barb, etc. find their abode in these water tanks. Get close to these predators of the sea which reside in the dark blue waters and understand their majestic world.

Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall is an impressive red building which resides in the greenery of the park. Framed with a beautiful entrance of the rose garden, the iconic structure built in 1915 AD is a classic example of Greek and Roman architecture. Serving the city by housing the apex library of the city which sprawls over an area of 300-square kilometers. Holding an extensive collection of 2.65 lakh books, the library is also the proud winner of the Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation Award for its extraordinary contribution and effort in the spread of literary knowledge in the minds and hearts of local Indians. It also holds a Braille section for facilitating reading for the blind community.

In its long list of heritage sites collection, the Cubbon Park is also home to the famous State Archeological Museum. Taking proud as one of the oldest museums in India, it draws its architectural inspiration from the typical Gothic style of designing. Built in 1876 by Colonel Sankey, it is a popular tourist attraction especially for historians and all those who want to get glimpse of that era. The rich collection of the museum is divided into eighteen galleries displaying various archeological and geological objects and artworks. A rich collection belonging to the Mohenjodaro dynasty, Vijaynagara, Halebid architecture finds a place in the museum premises. Old jewelry, terracotta, paintings, coins, sculptures, etc. belonging to these rich kingdoms are preserved in the galleries.

Built in 1864 A.D during the British rule, the Attara Kacheri accommodates the Karnataka High Court in its building. The beautiful stone structure stands tall with its glorifying red hued exteriors and a two-story building. It draws its inspiration from the Gothic style of architecture and welcomes you with an open heart at the entrance of the Park. Earlier during the mid 18th century to the late 19th century A.D, it served as the home for the Public Offices. In the Central Hall of the Kacheri, you can admire the portrait of Sir Mark Cubbon decorating the ceiling of the place. At the back of the building, you will come across an equestrian statue of Cubbon.
