El Paso Museum of Archaeology is a prehistoric museum which present 14,000 years of prehistory of the area surrounding El Paso. This museum located at 4301 Transmountain at the base of the Franklin Mountain, it was opened in 1977. Explore dioramas and exhibit of American India lives and their material cultures, from the Paleoindian hunters of the Ice Age to their modern descendants. The dioramas represent the cultures of The Casa Grandes and Jornada Mogollon. Many insights that you will get there included see 80-year-old grave fiber cloth, various items, pottery and jewelry.
