El Paso Zoo is a Zoo located in El Paso, Texas. There are over 240 species, including endangered species in 35- acre (14 ha). This zoo was accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and this is a chance for the visitors to connect with animals in the zoo. African Star Train

African Star Train

African Star Train is a miniature train ride in El Paso Zoo. This train will take your kids around the 'Africa”. Along the way you can see some animals such as giraffes, zebras and more. Please remember that train hours are seasonal and may vary due to weather.

Hunt Family Endangered Species Carousel

This area displays 30 hand-painted animals representing endangered species from around the world including an Asian elephant, Mexican grey wolf, white rhino, and western lowland gorilla. The carousel is a gift from the El Paso Zoological Society and the Hunt Family Foundation. The carousel is open from 9.30 to 4.00 p.m. on Monday until Thursday and 9.30 to 4.30 on Friday until Sunday.

It's easy to find entry tickets to El Paso Zoo, you can get it on the ticket booth and via online website. The tickets booth is opens daily at 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. This is the list price for ages 2 and under is free, ages 3-12 is $7.50, age 13-59 is $12.00, active duty military $9.00, active duty military spouse (with ID) $9.00, zoological society members is free. You also need to purchased tokens if you want to ride African Star Train, carousel, and giraffe encounters at Safari Outfitters Gift Shop.
