A Dive at the Georgia Aquarium
1. The Southern Company River Scout
The Southern Company River Scout is the first exhibit of the aquarium and it exhibits the regional environments of different regions. The exhibit has a river overhead where the guests can have a look at the North American Fish from below. Other specimens that are included in the exhibit other than the local specimens include the electric eel, the piranha and many other unusual lives of the freshwater.
2. The Cold Water Quest
The Ocean Voyager has almost 24,000,000 L of water with thousands of fish and was built by the Home Depot. The life of Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System is featured in this exhibit and also the whale sharks. It has an underwater tunnel with a large looking window. The depth of the tank is in between 20 to 30 feet and its dimensions are 87 meters x 38 meters.

4. Tropical Diver
This exhibit has only Indo-Pacific Tropical Fish as its feature. It is the largest habitat among all the exhibits which has 620,000 liters of water with a number of fishes. This part of the aquarium even cultivates its own coral out of which some of it is seen as a large reef. Some other animals in the exhibit include jellyfish, seahorses, shrimps, Red lionfish, clownfish, Blue-spotted ribbon tail ray, garden eel, lobsters and others.
5. The AT&T Dolphin Celebration Gallery
The AT&T Dolphin Celebration Gallery was inaugurated in 2011 in the month of April is situated behind the River Scout and Cold Water Quest. This was the first new addition made in the aquarium and it also houses the indoor stadiums of dolphin. There are almost 13 bottlenose dolphins in the aquarium. The show of the dolphin lasts for about 30 minutes which has education and informative videos about the dolphins. It is the second largest exhibit in the aquarium.
6. The SunTrust Pier 22 Gallery
The SunTrust Pier 22 Gallery features California sea lions exclusively. There are 6 individual California sea lions out of which 2 have been named Neptune and Jupiter and were rescued 3 years back in the mass sea standing in California. The exhibit also conducts some presentations about sea lions. The presentations can be attended by 560 people at one time.
