Located in center of Valletta City, Grandmaster's Palace is the largest palace in Valletta which was built in 1566 by Grand Master Jean Parisot de Valette. The Palace Armour and State Rooms add some values to it.

State Rooms consist of five rooms which presents the Baroque illusionistic ceiling paintings decoration from the late 18th century in the corridors, the portrait gallery of the various Maltese islands rulers include the Order of St John till today and the only complete and intact set of the famous 18th century French Gobelins tapestries entitled, 'Les Teintures des Indes' in the world. These five room are usually open to publics and used as the place of one-off exhibition. You can see the exhibition 'Picasso and Mirò: The Flesh & the Spirit' currently hosted in the Dining Room and Throne Room.
