The Safari Masai Mara is the newest attraction in the zoo. Guadalajara offers several modes to get into the city. You can choose an airplane, bus, car, or train to reach there. Libertador Miguel Hidalgo International Airport is the main airport which connects the city to the world through multiple airlines. Guadalajara Zoo is ten kilometres away from the airport. Hire a cab or any public transit, and you will be on the doorstep of the zoological park within half an hour. You can also catch the train for Guadalajara Central Station. Buses are readily available at the main bus station, located in the suburb of Tonala. Exploring the major tourist sites is quite easy with public transits.
