Best Time to Visit

The palace is open to the public only on the annual Islamic celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri (the festival at the end of the Muslim fasting month). During this time, the palace can receive about 110,000 visitors over a three-day period. Muslims can go to the palace for Tadarus and Tarawih prayer gathering during 10 days of the Ramadhan period. You can take the provided free buses. It is to shuttle guests 3km from the city centre to the palace. Make sure you check the local calendar the D-day when Hari Raya Aidilfitri is celebrated in Brunei.
