Koelner Zoo also known as Aktiengesellschaft Cologne Zoological Garden houses almost 7000 animals which belongs to various 700 species and is spread over an area of 20 hectares. The zoo has an attached aquarium Koelner and also an exhibit of invertebrates. Most of its animals are the ones which are rare and are on the verge of extinction.
