The Dolphinarium also contains four auxiliary pools meant for training the dolphins, their medical care and other purposes.
The arctic exhibit at L'Oceanografic consists of a giant igloo which is twelve meters tall. The igloo is divided into two levels and reproduces the ecosystem of the arctic region. Wetlands aviary is a 26 meter sphere that represents two coastal wetlands of the earth, i.e., the Mediterranean Marshlands and the American Mangrove.
