Located close to the Alamgiri Gate on the western end of the fort, the Moti Masjid is also known as Pearl Mosque. Built by Shah Jahan, the mosque has two aisles of five bays, three superimposed domes, and a pishtaq slightly raised from the center. With an elegant look and a simple interior, the Moti Masjid showcases the ceiling embellished with four different orders and two trabeated and arcuate.

The Lahore Gate comprises of two gates in its vast complex. Built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the year 1674, the Alamgiri gate is the main entrance of the citadel. Located at the western end of the fortress, it features two semi-circular bastions decorated with the design of a lotus petal at its base. Facing towards the Badshahi Mosque, Alamgiri Gate opens to the Hazuri Bagh. It is the most iconic monument of Pakistan and depicted on the currency note of Pakistan. The other gate of the Shahi Quila is the Akbari Gate. Built in the year 1566, it is now famous as 'Maseeti Gate.'

Situated within Shah Burj of Jahangir, Sheesh Mahal is a celestial looking mirror palace. Featuring a spacious hall in its front with several rooms, the castle was the Harm of the fort. The main chamber of the mirror palace homes a marble screen beautifully carved out in floral, geometrical and tendril patterns. The versatile marble stone slabs, Sang e Badal, Sang e Musa and Sang e Abri add more beauty to the spacious courtyard. The Sheesh Mahal depicts beautiful frescos, Gillt, and Pietra dua work along with perforated marble screens in Aiena and Monabat Kari.

Apart from these, the Lahore Fort also consists of twenty one more beautiful structures. 'Shah Burj' Quadrangle highlights Naulakha Bangala with picture walls, Summer Palace, and Pari Mahal. Khilwat Khana was built in the year 1633 by Shah Jahan featuring Kala Burj and Laj Burj. The Citadel also contains museums which exhibit the glory of the Mughal Emperor.
