Liseberg is an amusement park located in the heart of the Gothenburg city. The amusement park was first built in 1923. Liseberg is very famous for its wooden roller coaster named Balder that has been voted as Best Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster in the world. The name Liseberg was derived after Johan Anders Lamberg named his property Lisas berg ('Lisa's Mountain') after his wife Elisabeth Söderberg. Not only that the park provides wide variety of rides and attractions, the park also provides many performances and accommodation for its visitors.
