This is an exhibit that stretches to a whopping 3000 square feet and comprises graphic boards and interactive and educational displays of monk seals, different species of dolphins and massive whales. The experience of how it feels to be the krill that is assembled and devoured by the whales in the Bubble Net will leave you fascinated and spellbound.
The Open Ocean is also referred to as the pelagic realm. It is the natural habitat of the huge and elegant stingrays, jacks and the fast-paced sharks. This exhibit of 750 thousand gallons of sea-water features a long and clear tunnel of 54 feet that transport the tourists while providing them with a fascinating 240-degree view of thousands of fishes with stingrays drifting right above your head and sharks staring fiercely at you. This program also allows certified divers to enter the exhibit as a part of the Shark Dive Maui program.
The Tide Pool is an exhibit of the harmless marine species such as sea urchins, sea stars and sea cucumbers. The tourists are allowed to touch the marine animals here but only with proper care and guidance.
This multi-level presentation exhibit features the dangerous and uniquely shaped hammerhead sharks along with an assortment of thousands of colorful fishes and stingrays. These sharks possess electro-receptive organ systems that aid in the detection of electrical pulses generated by the living animals around them.
The Discovery Pool is the humble abode of sea urchins, sea stars, sea cucumbers, mollusks and thousands of colorful fishes and the famous hermit crab.

It is strictly prohibited to carry food and drinks to the Maui Ocean Center except for provision for infants and children who are very young. Food is available on the premises.
