1. The Crown Fountain

The Crown Fountain at the park is a piece of interactive art for public and is also a video sculpture which was inaugurated in the year 2004. The fountain has been named after the Crown Family of Chicago. The floor of the fountain is made up of black granite and the pool is placed between two towers each of height 15 metres which are made of glass and brick. The towers make use of the diodes, that emit light to make the display of the digital videos possible on their inside. The water of the fountain operates from May till October. The fountain is praised for its artistic as well as entertaining features. The fountain is easily accessible due to its universal design. The fountain area is meant to eat the heat in the summers and allows the people and especially children to have fun in the water of the fountain. Jay Pritzker Pavilion is the centrepiece of the park. It is a bandshell. The pavilion can house up to 4,000 people fixedly and more seats can be arranged in the lawn which range up to 7,000. The park has been named after a great donor of the park, Jay Pritzker who is also owner the Hyatt Hotels. The venue is usually used for conducting a series of events relating to art and music. The stage of the pavilion has been made of curved plates of stainless steel. Numerous music series, rock band performances, art events, outdoor events are conducted at this pavilion. Major fitness activities like Yoga, Aerobics are also undertaken here. The pavilion has been awarded for being super accessible not just in the country but also in the entire world. A sound system and a feel of an indoor concert hall is also featured here.

An incomplete structure of the Cloud Gate was unveiled during its opening, however, it was covered again so that it could be completed. Officially, it was completed in the year 2006 in the month of May. It has gained enormous popularity both nationally and internationally.

The BP Pedestrian Bridge connects the Maggi Daley park and Millenium park, that are part of Grant park.The bridge was incorporated in the year 2004 in the month of July when the rest of the park was inaugurated as well. The bridge has been in the buzz for its style and aesthetics. The use of stainless steel done in the bridge to express abstraction is unique and extensive. The bridge not only connects but also acts as a barrier to all the sounds of the traffic coming from the Columbus Dive to the Pavilion. The bridge has been awarded as it used sheet metal in its construction. The bridge is usually closed in the winter season as its wooden walkaway gets covered in ice and to gets difficult to remove it from there. There are no handrails on the bridge ,instead steel parapets have been used. The design of the bridge is curvy and thus, it is called to be appearing snake-like.

The Harris Theatre at the Park is a theatre that hosts some of the major events of performing arts and music wand and can seat about 1,525 people. It is considered as an indoor performing location in the park. Some of the groups which are featured regularly at the venue are Chicago Opera, Joffrey Ballet and the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. The McDonald's Cycle Centre is an indoor bike station which is entirely air conditioned and has space for about 300 cycles at a time. The area was inaugurated along with the park in 2004. They also provides facilities for in-line skaters and runners. A number of lockers are available where people can keep their stuff. There is a facility for showers, bike repair, bike commuters, bike rentals, outdoor summer seating, utility cyclists and much more. The place was donated by McDonalds after the park was opened in 2004. The aim of the centre is to make its visitors healthier and fitter by making them motivated about balanced and active lifestyle.
