Mindil Beach is a beautiful beach located near the Darwin's central business district. The beach holds the Mindil Beach Sunset Market, it is run during the dry season from May to October of every year. Mindil Beach is located in the city center. It is a six minutes' drive by a car or other public transportation, or a 30 minutes' walk from the city center. If you are at Daly Street, the center of Darwin, turn onto Garden Roads until you reach Chin Quan Road. At the end of the road is Mindil Beach Reserve. If you're traveling from the Darwin CBD to the market, a taxi will cost about $10.

Free parking is available via Gilruth Drive-during the sunsets. It is between 6.30pm and 7:00pm. So it is best to arrive early.
