De Valk was built in 1743 and was established as a municipal museum in 1966. Consisted of seventh floors, Molenmuseum de Valk offers an important history of Dutch. Every floor is displayed tools, books and models related to mills and millers. In 2013, Molenmuseum de Valk became the part of Leiden Heritage.
