Montpellier Zoo or also called Montpellier Zoological Park is a zoo in the montpellier of Montpellier. This particular zoo is located in the northern part of the montpellier and covers an area of approximately 80 hectares making it one of the largest zoos in France. You can go to Montpellier Zoo by car, taxi, or public transpotation. If you choose to take a public transportation to the zoo, you can board the tram line 1 to the St. Eloi stop and continue to walk to the zoo or take a free shuttle bus to the zoo labeled La Navette or line 13.
The opening hours of the zoo may vary, depending on the month. From April to September, the zoo opens at 9.30am and closes at 6.30pm. During February, March, and October, the zoo opens from 10am to 6pm and from November until January the zoo opens at 10am and closes at 5pm. The zoo opens everyday except on Mondays.
