Montpellier Zoo or also called Montpellier Zoological Park is a zoo in the montpellier of Montpellier. This particular zoo is located in the northern part of the montpellier and covers an area of approximately 80 hectares making it one of the largest zoos in France. In this place, you can see varieties of species from around the world and has more than 500 animals living in the Montpellier Zoo. Other than the animals, you can also see the greenhouse in the zoo which looks like an Amazonian forest.

How to Get Tickets?

There is no entrance ticket required to enter the zoo, but if you want to go to the Amazonian greenhouse, you have to buy a ticket. The ticket to go to the Amazonian greenhouse will cost you EUR6.50 for adults, EUR3 for children ages 6 to 18 and senior citizens, and children under age 6 are allowed to enter without tickets.

The opening hours of the zoo may vary, depending on the month. From April to September, the zoo opens at 9.30am and closes at 6.30pm. During February, March, and October, the zoo opens from 10am to 6pm and from November until January the zoo opens at 10am and closes at 5pm. The zoo opens everyday except on Mondays.
