Best Time to Visit

The museum visiting hours are from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm with last admission at 4:30 pm. You can visit it any time throughout the year. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays and third or fourth Friday of every month. It is also closed from 29th December to 3rd January every year.

How To Get There?

Chubu Centrair International Airport is located 30 km from the center of Nagoya. It is served by many international and domestic flights. You can also reach the city from neighboring cities via train. For reaching Nagoya City Science Museum, you can opt for public transportation services to reach the place. You can easily reach the museum via subway or city bus that have a station and stop just five minutes away from the museum. Meitetsu bus also has a stop Shirakawa Koen-mae, at a five minute walking distance from the museum. You can also reach the museum by car or bicycle. Parking facility is available at the museum.

Photography is allowed inside the museum but visitors are expected not to use cameras during the projections at the Planetarium. Security locker facility is also available at the museum.please note that the museum is a no smoking area. Also, foods and beverages are not allowed inside the museum.
