The roof or the Feather Plume is a masterpiece of intricate designing and a spectacularly detailed structure. The roof is made of laminated steel and is adorned with characteristically delicate mosaic ceramic work on the outside along with the white concrete which gives the structure the natural luminosity both during the daytime as well as during the night. It is 230 meters in length and consists of two shells which beautify the structure. Two supports hold the roof, one at the western side and the other is in the middle. The roof highlights the work of the architect and signifies the efforts and labor he has put in to make this world acclaimed monument.
