Opened in 2007, Palma Aquarium is a commercial aquarium and park in Palma. This aquarium is owned by the Coral World International. Palma Aquarium is 500 meters from Playa de Palma beach, and is included 55 tanks that become the house for more than 700 species in Mediterranea and Indian Ocean, Antlantic and Pacific. Big Blue tank which is 8,5 deep is the deepest Shark Tank in Europe, and it also contains the biggest coral collection that live in Europe. The Park of this aquarium was awarded 'Best Business Initiative in the Balearics 2007', awarded by Actualidad Económica magazine, and was awarded the '2007 Accessibility Prize' by the Consell de Mallorca. Palma Aquarium has over 400,000 visitors every year, it can be said that the 1000 visitors come to this aquarium every day. 50% of its visitors are local and national, while the rest are mainly of European. How to Get Tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online or at the tickets office in Palma Aquarium. The aquarium offers two kind of tickets: Palma Aquarium Adult Tickets and Palma Aquarium Children Tickets. It also features Adults Duo Pack Tickets, Child Tickets + Shark Vision Boat and Adult Tickets + Shark Vision Boat. Family Tickets are also available in Palma Aquarium which consists of 2 adult and 2 children. However, the Family Tickets are not available at the tickets office. The best thing to do is buy your tickets online.

What Should I Wear?

You can wear clothes depend on the weather in Mallorca since there is no dress code to enter the Palma aquarium. However,if you are going to join the diving activity, do not forget to bring your swimming suit because Palma Aquarium does not provide it. Also, do not forget to wear comfortable footwear since you are going to walk to reach the Bellver Castle on the hill from the bus station. This is the best thing to do.

How To Get There?

Palma Aquarium can be accessed by car, bus, cycling or even walking. If you prefer to use car, exit 10 from Palma in the direction of Llucmajor. Palma Aquarium has its own parking area for the visitors who are using car when visiting Palma aquarium. If you are using bus, take bus number 15,23, 25 and TIB 520. The bus will stop right outside the aquarium. From Playa de Palma beach, you only have to walk for 500 meters away.
