Pink beaches never cease to amaze us, and Lombok's Pink Beach is one of the best. Locally known as Tangsi Beach, Lombok's Pink Beach is as charming as Komodo Island's Pink Beach with its peach-scolored beach sand. The only thing that makes the former better is that Tangsi Beach is located in remote island, hence there are less crowds clogging the scenic beach. Exciting Island-Hopping Awaits in Pink Beach Lombok
To put it simply, Pasir Island is a small sand island located in the middle of the sea few meters away from the Pink Beach. There are numerous of them and visitors can hop from one another just for the fun. It's a great place to take some selfies, you can also sunbathe on the island if you want or swimming in the shallow water surrounding the island. Unfortunately there are not much things to do in the islands.

Compare to the first Pink Beach, this Pink Beach 2's beach sand is way paler though you can still see some tinge of pink on it. The beach is quite spacious compare to Pasir Islands, it's possible for you to do much more activities here. The sea water is also relatively calm, visitors will have a great time swimming or snorkling here.The island is inhabitated and very quiet, you can literally own the beach for a day and enjoy the serenity this second pink beach offer.
Located just next to Pink Beach 2 is Semangkuk Beach. While it doesn't have pink sandy beach, the pristine beach still offer spectacular view of powdery white beach with crystal-clear turqoise water.Semangkuk Beach is known as the best spot for snorkling. Some even says that it is also a perfect spot for fishing, there are chance you will get some delicious fresh seawater fishes, that is if you're patient and lucky enough.
Lombok is famous for its Gilis, and one of them, Gili Petelu, is located few meters away from the Pink Beach. Gili Petelu is actually three gilis connected as one where green vegetations grow and dominating the inhabitated land. Visitors can try to explore each part of Gili Petelu and take in the breathtaking vista of the island and its surroundings. Gili Petelu is also a great spot for diving and snorkling, as the gili is a home to many fishes and colorful corals.
Looking for a perfect beach for sunbathing? Then you should totally visit Gili Sunut. Compare to other islands nearby the Pink Beach, the gili is inhabitated by 100 fishermen families. It might be not possible to do island-hopping from the Pink Beach to Cemara Beach by boat, but since the beach is located in the same area as the Pink Beach (and it's pretty!) we decided to include it here. Cemara Beach is named after a grove of pine trees located nearby the beach, upon entering the beach area you'll be welcomed with vast view of pristine beach with its turqoise sea water. The beauty is simply outstanding, there are not many people there so it is a great place to enjoy a quiet peaceful beach holiday. You can immerse yourself with the beach vista or take a dip in its calming turqoise sea. But whatever you do, you should never forget to bring your own lunch.
How to Get Tickets?
To enter the Pink Beach and other islands surrounding it, you'll have to pay certain admission fee. Though you don't have to worry since most of the time you will only have to pay Rp 10.000,- or $69 USD.
How To Get Around?
Getting around Pink Beach and the islands can be done by renting a boat. Though to go to Cemara Beach, you'll have to switch to cars (you'll have to rent one since there's no public transportations passing the Cemara Beach).
What Should I Wear?
Fortunately there's no strict dress codes to visit the Pink Beach (it's a beach afterall!) It's best to wear light-weight clothes, swimsuits, and of course clean spare clothes if you're planning to swim. Bring along your snorkling or diving equipments since there's no rental available in the area.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Pink Beach is in dry season from April to October. The weather will be warm and pleasant enough, the sea tides are also low making it possible for those who want to swim or diving.

How To Get There?
The easiest (and the most possible) way to reach Pink Beach is by rent a car and hire a driver to take you to the beach. The road to the beach is challenging and too risky to be explored by yourself, so sit back and leave everything to your driver.
Bring your own lunch if you're planning to stay in the Pink Beach for more than one hour. Pack plenty of mineral water too to keep you hydrated.
