Nearby is Almudena Cathedral, one of the oldest churches in Madrid and the famed Palacio Real is just right next to it.

What Should I Wear?

There's no particular dress code required if you are visiting Plaza Mayor. Dress as fashionable and as comfortable as you want! You might want to get dressy a little bit if you're going to spend the night by hitting a bar or cafe in the area.
