What Should I Wear?
It's one of the most spectacular and enigmatic ballparks in the world with the majority of visitors being die-hard Pirates fans. Most people, including kids, can be seen in the official jersey of the Pirates. Pirates' hats are popular, too, and can also save you from occasional high temperatures. You can also wear other sporting casuals, jeans, shorts, polo T's, or whatever keeps you going comfortable all-day-long. Remember to carry a backpack for small items, drinks, snacks, and all.
Best Time to Visit
PNC Park can be visited on all game days throughout the Pirates season. Gates open around one-and-a-half hours before the start of the dame and nearly two hours before the start of the carnival on the Opening Day. For games that start at 7:05pm, the Clemente Gate opens about two-and-a-half hours before the start. For daytime games, the Clemente Gate opens two hours before the start.

For fans coming from other cities and states, easy accommodation is available around the airport and the PNC Park can be reached easily by bus, private cab or LightRail service. PNC Park can be reached by cabs, personal vehicles, bus, and LightRail. The Port Authority has over 50 bus routes to downtown from across the region with the West Busway and regular bus service. The ballpark is at walking distance from downtown through the Clemente Bridge. Fans visiting PNC Park can make the most of the FREE Port Authority.
