Comprising of nine attraction, western buildings, and sculptures, ìFar Westî is the biggest area in the amusement park. Mexico themed area is based on pre-Columbian Mexico which exhibits beautiful temples and marvelous statues. The ìGreat Piramideî is the biggest show of Port Aventura Park, lies in this themed section. ìPolynesiaî is different from other themes and is the smallest area with two exciting shows and a few attractions. ìTutuki Splashî allow the riders to experience a volcano eruption in a flume style boat. There is a four-dimensional cinema which takes the riders on a journey to the bottom of the ocean. It gives them a live experience with its high-quality sound system and unique graphics effects. Dedicated to younger guests of the amusement park, ìSesamo Aventuraî comprises less thrilling rides. It is an animated street with different cartoon characters and animates shows. This street mostly entertains the young and little riders. The park consist of one-of-a-kind rides with records for height, size, and speed.

You can reach Tarragona by plane, car or train. Reus Airport is the nearest airport. Port Aventura is 8.3 kilometers away from the airport. Moreover, you can also travel by train from Barcelona. It takes only fifteen minutes to reach.

Avoid visiting Port Aventura during school holidays. Prefer to carry a light raincoat in handy for water rides. You are not allowed to take outside food items and drinks. However, you can bring your water bottle and refill it at drinking fountains. The park prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages. You are recommended to re-apply the sunscreen lotion on your skin to prevent sunburn and tanning. Do remember that access to rides in Port Aventura decided by height.
