How to Get Tickets?
School Students are offered free entry into the Rao Jodha Desert Park. The entry fee for Adults is Rs. 100. In case you want to hire a naturalist guide, an additional entry fee of Rs. 200/- has to be paid. Visitors to the Rao Jodha Desert Park need to buy the tickets from the Visitors Centre that is 800 meters from the Main fort gate and begin their trek inside the desert.
How To Get Around?
Visitors can enter the park through its various entry points. Either you can start walking from closer to the Fort or start from the Visitors Centre from the Main Fort Gate. It is a long walking trail witnessing the various flora and fauna of the Attraction. The complete journey inside the park is to be undertaken on foot. However, there are parking facilities offered to visitors to park their private cars and buses.
What Should I Wear?
There is no particular dress code to be followed during the visit. However, the place compels visitors to carry a few things along during the trek. This includes good walking shoes as the terrain is uneven and filled with rocks, hats, sunglasses, and drinking water. How To Get There?
Jodhpur is well connected to other cities of India. It has its own airport, however, the frequencies of flights to the place is quite low. The place can also be reached by rail and road. There are plenty of cars, taxis, and auto-rickshaws available outside railway stations and airports. You can also opt for shared cabs to reach the park.
