Rudaki Park is a big park located in the center of Dushanbe, Tajikistan. With its big area, there are plenty of things that you can enjoy. 1. Rudaki's Monument
Abu Abd Allah Ja'far ibn Muhammad al Rudaki or in short Rudaki, was a famous poet from Tajikistan. He is famous for his poems that is written in the modern Persian alphabet. One thing that is unique from Rudaki was that the fact that he was born blind but his poems were showing that he can actually see. In the Rudaki Park, you can see the Rudaki's monument in the middle of the park. Things that you can do when you are at the Rudaki's Monument is absolutely taking photos with the statue.
Rudaki Park have so many beautiful fountains that are equipped with colored lanterns or lights in its pond. If you are tired and wanted to rest for a bit after your tour inside the park, then take a sit on the benches surrounding the park and enjoy the fountain show. More things that you can do here is to see some flowers that are blooming in the terraces near the fountains.
3. Half Moon Monument
Right behind Rudaki's Monument, you can see a half oval gate that is towering the monument. Eventhough this half moon monument has no name, its beautiful features can distract your eyes right away. The Half Moon Monument was dominantly in the color of ocean blue. There are also some mozaic that looks like a star made from a small colored stones. Its beautiful looks and color can be an important feature to make your pictures in the Rudaki's Monument become brighter.
Not only for its monument, Rudaki Park is also well-known for its botanical garden. Located around the monuments, the botanical garden is the home for flowers, big trees, and also bushes. This garden is also a perfect place to have a wedding party. Its big and shaded area is perfect to have a small or even big garden party. If you are lucky enough, you can also see the tulip flowers are blooming there.
5. Big Gate
Right before you go inside the park, there is a big gate that will welcome you with its great architecture that will amaze your eyes. The entrance gate is located facing big important buildings of Dushanbe. This Big Gate will also be a good place for you to take some pictures.

There is no entrance tickets for Rudaki Park. Simply go there and enjoy everything that has been provided.

To get around Rudaki Park is best go by foot. There is also a sports ground that might allowed you to ride your bicycle there.

How To Get There?
To get to Rudaki Park, it is recommended to go by car or taxi. If you are going to the park from Dushanbe, it will take around thirty minutes of driving via Hofiz Sherozi Avenue. However, you can also take a public bus with the number 1,3, and 8. You can also take trolleybus number 1
There is no entrance fee for the park, however you need to prepare you money for the parking ticket and also for the entrance of the children park. Also, make sure that you bring scarfs especially for women to cover your head since Tajikistan is an Islam country.
