History of Sea World Gold Coast
Sea World was founded by Keith Williams back in 1958 with the original name of Surfers Paradise Ski Gardens. The name was changed to Sea World in 1972, with the introductions of dolphins, marine displays, a swimming pool, and other facilities. In a decade, the park was developping with the addition of new animals and exhibits, food outlets, and shops. Then the park was sold to Pivot Leisure in 1984. The park was keep growing with the building of the Nara Resort 4 years later, the opening of Warner Bros Movie World in 1991, and the purchase of Wet n Wild Water Park that is located next to the Warner Bros Movie World in 1993. While the attractions and rides were added since 1975. The last attractions added was the Nickelodeon Land that opened in 2015.

Sea World Gold Coast is filled with many interesting shows for you to see. Not just filled with fun, they are educating as well. Some shows are presentations about animals, including dolphin, penguin feeding, ray reef, and seal guardians. There is also another show that focuses more on how to rescue and rehabilitate the dolphins. Then, there are special shows featuring cartoon characters from Nickelodeon that are guaranteed to entertain your children. Not just shows and presentations, you can also join in the fun adventures with the animals of Sea World Gold Coast. There are a lot of attractions where you can get the chance to learn more and swim with the dolphins of this facility. There are Dolphin Family Adventure, Dolphin Deep Water Adventure, Dolphin Aqua Adventure Child, and a program named Meet the Dolphin where you don't need to go into the water. Apart from the dolphins, you can also meet the polar bear on a behind the scene tour, the seal on a safari or an aqua adventure, the penguin through the Antarctic Adventure, and the Sharks on a Shark Encounter or Shark Bay Glass Bottom Boat program. Not just that, there is the Tropical Reef Snorkel where you can see the beautiful reef with your very own eyes in the clear water. For those who are 14 years old or older, you can feel the unique experience of becoming the trainer for a day in this place.

In total, there are 7 rides that you can try inside Sea World Gold Coast, including the Sea World Monorail. For those who want to experience the maximum thrill, you can try the Jet Rescue Coaster or the Storm Coaster that is the largest thrill ride on this facility. While to enjoy the fun with your kids, you can try the interactive playground in the Castaway Bay. This bay also has The Reef, the newest attractions at Sea World Gold Coast and the largest aquatic adventure zone in the country. You can also visit the Nickelodeon Land that is filled with kid-sized rides and meet and greets with some of Nickelodeon characters. While you are at the rides area, there are a lot of outdoor exhibits as well filled with creatures from the deep sea.

How To Get Around?
To get around, you can go by foot to see all the attractions from up close, or you can ride the monorail for a faster trip. Wheelchair is also available for hire and can be used in most of the attractions and rides area.
What Should I Wear?
It is better to wear light clothing and comfortable shoes or sandals during your visit to Sea World Gold Coast because you will walk a lot and the weather can be hot during summer or during sunny days. Don't forget to bring spare clothes too because some rides will make you wet.
Best Time to Visit
The best time will be between April and May, where the weather is not too hot and there is a small chance of rainfall. These months are also considered as the cheapest months and the best time because these months are outside of school holiday periods, which means it won't be very crowded inside the park.

How To Get There?
To reach the place, you can ride the bus and take route 704 or 705. There are also a limited parking area available in the area, near the administration building even though it is not very recommended as the parking area can be crowded, especially on holiday.
