1. This Secret Lagoon is the oldest pool in Iceland
Secret Island was also known among most Icelander locals as the Gamla Laugin means as The Old Pool. This pool was made in 1891 and 1909 and the first swimming lesson had been taught in this pool. The Secret Lagoon was placed in the green valley, however, the Blue Lagoon was placed in the middle of the lava field. Blue Lagoon offers you with the beautiful turquoise blue color and Laguna Secret has clearer water. The size of Blue Lagoon when compare to Secret Lagoon is huge. The Blue Lagoon has two hotels, the steam bath, saunas and some of the different geothermal pools as well. They also have a fancy restaurant and cafe as well.
