Bidadari Island is only 30 minutes away from the Marina Ancol ferry port with boat that is rich with history. It was said that this island was used by the prince of Jayakarta to have a holiday, and this island is the home to Fort Martello that was built back in the 17th century. In Bidadari Island, you will also find rare trees, including the Peace Trees, Sentigi Trees, Black Wodd Trees, and other fruit and mangrove trees. Because of its location that is only 15km away from the main island, you can still see the buildings in Jakarta making a unique miniature landscape.

This spot consist of two islands, the small Tidung Island and the large Tidung Island. Both islands are connected with the famous 800m Love Bridge. Legend said that the name of Love Bridge roots from a symbol of the undying hope to find your true love along this path. Tidung Island is also considered as one of the most crowded island in Seribu Islands. Here, you can rent a bike to get around and you can play water games like Banana Boat.

Ayer Island is famous for its floating cottages that are used as resorts with traditional Papua design. The resort has a history where it was the holiday spot used by President Soekarno back in 1950s. The island is also completed with many facilities like restaurants, arcade zone, karaoke, playground, sports field, large swimming pools , and watersports. The location of this island is not far from Marina ancol ferry port as well, making this island the perfect destination for a family holiday or a large group gatherings.

Pramuka Island is used for the administrative center of Seribu Islands, making it the most inhabited island among the others. Onrust is a small island that is perfect for you who loves history. During the colonialization era, the island is used by the Dutch for their ships before going to Sunda Kelapa Port. In this island, you will see many buildings left by the Dutch, like fortress and port. The name ‘Onrust’ itself comes from the Dutch word meaning ‘Unrest’, even though others also said that the name of the island is from a Dutch aristocrat named Baas Onrust Cornelis van der Walck. In Onrust Island, there is an old Dutch building that is now used as a museum that you can visit to learn more about the story.

Harapan Island is located pretty far compared to the other islands, but this island is famous for its beautiful scenery and clear water. Harapan Island has beach with white sand and a small wooden bridge that is often used as seats for those who want to relax and just enjoy the breeze. This island is also said as the most beautiful places for snorkeling in Seribu Islands. On the western part of this island is a home to the rare Eagle that you can meet if you are lucky enough.

How to Get Tickets?

To go to Seribu Islands, you only need to make sure that you have a ticket for the boat that will take you to the islands. Even though you can buy for the boat ticket on the spot, during high season, the boat can be very crowded. To prevent that you don't get a boat, it is better to book for a spot before you are going. Tickets for the boats can be bought online.

How To Get Around?

To get around when you are on the island, you can walk because most of the islands are small. Another way is to rent a bike at the island. To move between the islands, you will have to ride a boat.

What Should I Wear?

Since you are going to the island, it is better to wear light clothings. You may prefer to wear sandals than shoes because it will be more comfortable. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit along. You can also bring your pashmina or scarf because it can get windy at night.
