Squaw Valley Ski Resort is the impressive ski areas at near Lake Tahoe in California, 3,600 acres (15 km2). It is the second-largest ski areas in Lake Tahoe after Heavenly. It was the host site of the VII Winter Olympics held in 1960. This is the prefect place for those who love winter sports and most people has been dubbed that it is one of the world's finest ski resort, and it is proven by there are 600,000 skiers a year come to Squaw Valley Ski Resort. Not only the ski areas, visitor also will indulge with the unique view of the pedestrian village. In the village you will find new restaurant and shops that can be the place will give new experience to share with your family or friends. The winter season will start from November to mid-May and you can make the reservations. The lift is open every day during ski season start from 09.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. and for night it will open on select days from 03.30 to 07.00 p.m.
