A trip to the volcanic country is one of its kind. The volcano house lends people the opportunity to hike into the crater for 45 to 50 minutes. How to Get Tickets?

Tickets to the Volcano House can be purchased online or by from the ticket house outside the entrance. The tickets for individual shows and experiences must be purchased separately. The price of tickets for Adults costs ISK 1,790, for Students and Senior Citizens it's ISK 1,400. The entry fee for City Card holders is ISK 1,400. For Teenagers, it's ISK 1,000. However, no entry fee is applicable for children below 12 years.

How To Get Around?

The museum offers wheelchair services for visitors. The trekking and tours are allotted with all the necessary items to get into the cave. For touring inside the museum, the place offers wheelchair amenities but not for tours and treks.

What Should I Wear?

There is no particular dress code. However, considering the cool and cold climate of the country, it is recommended to carry warm clothes, jackets and other comfortable clothing to keep you warm in the cold climate.

Best Time to Visit

The Volcano House is open throughout the year. The opening time is from morning 10 am to evening 8 pm. Shows are premiered every hour from morning 10 am to the evening at 9 pm. The best time to visit the attraction point in during May to December when they carry on with plenty of tours into the cave and witness volcanoes. If you have your tour canceled then no worries, get to the volcano house and watch the enthralling movies premiered on volcanoes.



Will I Need a Guide?

Visitors can roam around the attraction sight on their own, witnessing the various marvels of the volcano. For tours and treks, visitors are offered guides who will help translate everything in English. Inside the Volcano House, the documentaries are screened in different languages rendering audio guidance. With guides, you find it easy to translate the local language, be well adept with the location and how to go about with the tour.

How To Get There?

The Volcano House in Reykjavik Iceland can be reached by taking public transportation. Catch a bus to Myrargata from where the destination is at walkable distance. You can also reach there using private car or taxi and park it outside the attraction point.
