Wat Sisaket is a cloister located in the heart of Vientiane city, opposite the Presidential Palace. The cloister is famous for its wall that has around 7.000 pictures of Buddha in many forms. The pictures are mainly from the 16th to 19th century. Wat Si Saket was built by the last king of Lang Xan Kingdom, Chao Anuvong in the style of Bangkok architecture.
