The first thing to do a Xplor Park is to glide through the sky in the tallest and safest zip-lines in Cancun and Riviera Maya, where you will fly over the jungle, splash into a cenote and soak on a water slide. The park has two circuits of seven zip-lines each, with a total of 3.8 km of zip-lines. Challenge yourself and take the highest zip line which stands at 45 meters high. The area has two suspension bridges and refreshing water landings in natural sinkholes, as deep as 8 meters below ground level.

It is a 6.2 mile-long adventure in 4-wheel drive amphibious vehicles through jungle paths and defying water level in grottoes and caves. How to Get Tickets?

The tickets can be purchased online on Xplor Park's official website. It is better to purchase the tickets with your transportation included. The purchased tickets will be e-mailed to you and you can bring the copy when you visit. Go to the 'prepurchased tickets line” and you'll be ahead of the crowd. All tickets include access to all activities, locker for two, unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic beverage, as well as buffet lunch. Buying the tickets online is the best way, though it is possible to purchase the tickets on site.

How To Get Around?

Getting around Xplor Park is easy, you get a map when you buy the tickets and you can walk around from one attraction to another. Make a few stops for snacks and lunch every couple hours while resting.

What Should I Wear?

Wear comfortable clothes as you will be walking and playing with water all day. Bring your swimsuit and water shoes. Don't forget to bring towels and extra change of clothes. Insect repellent is also recommended since you will be in the middle of the jungle. Be warned that sunscreen and insect repellent used in the Park must only have titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.

Best Time to Visit

If you go to Xplor Park, arrive when it opens and go straight to the zip-lines, they are the most popular and often crowded. Arriving in the morning when it has just opened is the best time to do the things to do at Xplor Park. The weekends are a little less crowded, where many hotel guests check-in/check-out and don't go on tours.

You will be given the map of the park when you buy the tickets, this can be your guide to get around the park. Once you know where you want to go, it's easy to find the location with the help of the map.

How To Get There?

Xplor Park is located on Federal Highway 307, km 282, only 35 miles from the Cancun International Airport, 3.5 miles south of Playa del Carmen, and about 34 miles north of Tulum. It is neighbor to the parks Xcaret and Xenses. The easiest to get to Xplor Park is by purchasing your tickets with the transportation included. It provides round trip from your hotel on board fully equipped vehicles. Xplor has departures from Monday to Saturday starting at 7:00 a.m. (depending on the location of your hotel). You can also get there by car (free parking is provided) or by taxi from Cancun which will cost between $80 and $100 USD for a trip of about 70 minutes. From Playa del Carmen the price goes down to about $15 USD for a trip of about 15 minutes.
