ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, previously known as Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, is a spectacular safari park and zoo situated at Whipsnade, adjacent to Dunstable in England. It is one of 3 leading zoos (after ZSL London Zoo in the spectacular Regent's Park) that are managed by ZSL, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a nonprofit charity dedicated to the worldwide conservation of animals. The zoo covers a spacious 600 acres and can be easily located from miles away and from the air due to the Whipsnade White Lion, a massive hill figure exceptionally carved to the side of the Dunstable Downs (a portion of the Chiltern Hills) under the widely-acclaimed white rhino enclosure.

Earlier, the Dolphin Pool at the zoo, known as the Sea Lion Splash, is a daily exhibit wherein the three trained sea lions (a male named Dom and two females named Lara and Bailey) perform stunts and tricks at their pool (known as the 'Splash Zone'). In 2015, Bailey and Dom gave birth to a male sea lion named Oscar.
