The most amazingly fascinating feature of the Sulamani Guphaya Temple is the Sikhara that is not gilded unlike the Ananda Temple and that comes with a hti, an ornamental spiral right on top of it. The temple is symmetrically structured with its entrance windows and doors carved intricately with stucco decor.
The Shwezigon Pagoda is one of the most ancient and perhaps the most impressive of all the pagodas of Bagan. The enormous pagoda stands glittering under the sun with its rich gold plating. Launched in 1998, the Bagan Archaeological Museum is located near Gawdawtpalin Pagoda. Spanning across 16 square miles, the museum comprises of several display rooms that put on display a variety of artistic objects like terracotta works, wood carving, stucco collections, stone sculptures, laquer works, metal objects and more. The showroom exhibits models sporting about 55 different coiffeurs of the Bagan era. The art gallery displays paintings world renowned Myanmar artists, imitations of frescoes, and replicas of the architectural grandeur of Bagan. The dsiplay rooms on the second floor exhibit variously postured images and statues of Lord Buddha that makes the museum an iconic tourist attraction. The art gallery on the second floor fouses on religious theme, Buddhist arts and jatakas.
