To reach Batu, you can rent a car with the driver to take you around. That will be much safer and much comfortable than riding on a motorcycle. Alternatively you can also take a pink angkot from Landungsari Terminal in Malang. It should take about 30 minutes to 1 hour, though it is heavily depends on the current traffic.
